Such a gem! If you are looking for out of the ordinary flavors, this place delivers. Avocado, corn, queso, ube with Oreo are just a few of the different and delicious flavors they carry. Not something the kiddies would like? They have regular flavors as well. Definitely worth a visit for something different.

Really delicious ice cream and sorbet. They also do milkshakes and banana splits but they take longer to make and you'll need to wait a while. The ice cream flavors have a lot of Filipino flavors which is very unique, like ube oreo and halo halo. My favorites were the red bean, the ube oreo, the mango, the coconut, and the pomelo flavors. Their milk based ice cream is thick and creamy. Their ice creams are definitely a bit pricey. I wish you could try two flavors with the single scoop, but unfortunately you can only try one and the scoop is massive. Two scoops is almost a pint of ice cream. Their parking lot is a bit difficult to navigate, especially if it's packed. It's at a busy intersection and the inside has a few tables for people to sit. Service was fast and efficient. You're welcome to sample their flavors if you're not sure what you want to order. Definitely give this place a visit next time you're in Niles.

Yum, our first visit here in years and it was a treat. We used to frequent the long ago closed Village Creamery in Skokie years ago but never came here much for whatever reason and despite passing by frequently. I had a halo-halo shaved ice for $10.29. It was a colorful, flavorful, delicious, and satisfying treat. Besides the various content items, I also really particularly enjoyed the shaved ice, which with the frozen milk flavoring, was really more ice cream like than say the regular shaved ice that you might find in a Korean bingsoo treat. At $4.95 per scoop, the prices here are slightly elevated, but there are a lot of nice and exotic Filipino based Asian flavors. There is btw a 3.5% credit card charge here also, so bring cash if you want to save a little bit. This ice cream shop stop also had the same typical and uncanny customer traffic flow I've come to expect. It's totally empty one minute (like when we stepped in), and at any moment a herd will step in, and sure enough it happened again while we were here. It's also a smallish space here, so it doesn't take much of a herd to fill it up. It all makes for fun people watching while enjoying your treat. I will endeavor to return sooner than later next time around.

Great flavors that you can only get at this Filipino ice cream place! They are so good and fresh and flavors you cannot get anywhere else like: jackfruit, lychee, durian, Thai tea, avocado, queso, ube oreo, Superman, matcha green tea, mango, whiskey, red bean, and some traditional ones too like chocolate and strawberry and Rocky road. They give you free samples! For two gigantic scoops (8 oz total or 1/2 pint) it's was $9.96 including tax. If you bring cash it's 3.5% less than paying by credit card. Nice staff and nice and quiet environment with seating. You will love the 47 flavors.

I'm actually extremely shook-ith to my core on this one! I had passed by SO many times throughout the years and heard so many good things. I can't quite answer why I hadn't decided to visit up until yesterday (except for the fact that my husband has an extreme sweet tooth and I knew just where to go after dinner!) Service was great. They have an array of different options! From the outside looking in, I assumed it was more Americanized but it's actually Philippino inspired ! Their most popular ice creams are their Ube and/or Ube Oreo, Cookie Monster and their "Halo Halo" concoction that I can't even describe what's on the inside! It's a MUST try. Unique addt flavors include (but are not limited to): Thai tea, Thai Coffee, Pomelo Sorbet, Lychee Flan, Lychee, Buko Pandan, Jackfruit, Sapin-Sapin...and more! Dying to try their leche flan but it's apparently so delicious and so popular they haven't had it in several weeks !

About 13 miles from Chicago or 30+ minutes' drive, into Niles, this ice cream shop offers some of the best flavors I've ever tasted. I mean, the flavors--jackfruit, halo-halo, sapin-sapin, queso, ube (a perennial addiction), etc.--all remind me of home and of childhood per se. Home is back in the Philippines, of course; 40-odd years ago. Nearby, is the largest Korean H Mart I've seen. As well as the King Spa-where a couple of friends and I spent three hours at least, for some bonding time over different sensory experiences--dry heat, the salt or the charcoal caves, cold room (a personal favorite, or simply a much needed reprieve from the hot rooms), the steam room (ah, so so good for the face), and so many more. But I digress. Come for the ice cream at this joint. Before or after your spa trip, and/or getting your Asian foodstuff fix.

This was some time ago when I had then halo halo. I know they have changed the size they serve them in. Let me get into it! Food: All of the flavors they have are amazing. My personal favorite is the Ube. It's texture and the flavor always hit the spot. Service: When ever I come here I can tell that the cs people really do care and what you to have a good experience. And they do offer samples which is great given you might not know all then flavors and if you will like them. Atmosphere: It's a smaller shop so it's pretty tight inside. They do have some chairs outside which is nice. Overall, this is a ice cream shop I would bring friends to for more exotic flavors!

Yay to ice cream shops with Asian flavors!! This is a small ice cream shop with about 15 seats inside and a few seats, maybe 4 seats outside - up front. I've been coming here for years and love all the flavors here. My favorites are Ube, matcha, Lychee, sapin sapin and durian. The also offer prepacked pints which I mostly saw were Ube and mango. The staff is friendly and patient. Not much interaction since the whole process quick - order your ice cream, get it and eat it lol This place stays consistently busy especially during the summer. This spot has been open for awhile and it's great to see them doing so well.

If you are looking for an ice cream place that is locally owned, makes all their own ice cream flavors and teeters with exotic flavors like mango, jackfruit, avocado and the like, step inside Village Creamery. To folks outside of Skokie and Niles, you may not have heard or been to Village Creamery but it's definitely a spot to visit if you're into ice cream. Being a Filipino owned and operated establishments, they offer your traditional flavors like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and the like but also offer flavors that are found in warmer climates like Mango, coconut, jackfruit, Ube and a bunch of other flavors. You can mix and match or choose them separately. Whichever way you go, the taste of the ice creams are creamy, flavorful and fresh. The ambiance is typical of your other ice cream stores. Many families and kids visiting and enjoying their ice cream desserts in and outside the store. The service is also typical of your local ice cream store.
